Properties and Aging Mechanism of High Content SBS Polymer Modified Asphalt during Aging Process

摘要 为探究老化对高含量苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯嵌段共聚物(styrene-butadiene-styrene,SBS)改性沥青性能的影响,通过室内试验模拟高含量SBS改性沥青短期、长期老化,通过针入度、软化点、延度试验,流变试验,傅里叶红外光谱试验以及原子力显微镜试验测试老化沥青的物理性能、流变性能以及沥青组分。试验结果表明:随着老化程度的增加,高含量SBS改性沥青25℃针入度、15℃延度减小,软化点、复数模量、蠕变速率增大,恢复率先减小后增大,不可恢复蠕变与相位角则反之;高含量SBS改性沥青前期老化以SBS降解为主,后期以沥青的热氧老化为主;老化过程中,高含量SBS改性沥青发生化学反应产生羰基、亚砜基等含氧官能团,微观形貌中“蜂”形结构数量降低,单个面积增大;高含量SBS改性沥青老化过程中,短期老化对其性能影响较小,长期老化则反之。 To explore the effect of aging on the performance of high content styrene-butadiene-styrene(SBS)polymer modified asphalt.Short-term and long-term aging of high content SBS polymer modified asphalt were obtained in laboratory tests and the physical properties and the rheological properties and asphalt components were tested by penetration,softening point,ductility test,rheological test,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),and atomic force microscope(AFM)test.The results show that the penetration at 25℃and ductility at 15℃of high content SBS polymer modified asphalt decrease as the aging degree increase,and the softening point,complex modulus,and creep rate increase.However,the recovery rate firstly decreased and then increased,and the regulation of non-recoverable creep Jnr and phase angle are contrary.The polymer degradation generally happens at the initial stage of aging,and thermal-oxidative aging generally happens at the late stage of aging.The chemical reaction of high content SBS polymer modified asphalt produces oxygen-containing functional groups such as carbonyl group and sulfoxide group during the aging process,and the number of“bee”structures in the micromorphology decreases,but the single area of“bee”structure increases.Short-term aging has a slight effect on high-viscosity asphalt performance,while long-term aging has a significant effect.
