Taking five typical ethnic tourism communities in Gansu Province as cases, this paper constructs the livelihood vulnerability evaluation system of tourism practitioners in ethnic communities based on the analysis framework of "risk-adaptive capabilities-sensitivity". Entropy method is used to determine the weight of each index, and multiple linear regression model is used to make an empirical analysis of the livelihood vulnerability factors affecting tourism practitioners. The results show that:(1) Tourism practitioners in ethnic communities show high vulnerability to natural risks, market risks and health risks.(2) The livelihood vulnerability of tourism practitioners in various ethnic communities is different, and the vulnerable groups also have significant differences in age, income, education level and other aspects.(3) In general, the livelihood vulnerability of tourism practitioners increases with the rise of their livelihood risk and livelihood sensitivity, and decreases with the enhancement of their adaptability.(4) The number of family labor force, education level, annual income level, access to credit and other variables are negatively correlated with the livelihood vulnerability of tourism practitioners, while the effect degree of tourism low-peak season and the effect degree of natural disasters are positively correlated with the livelihood vulnerability of tourism practitioners.
