摘要
教育是培养公民社会责任感与行动力的主要途径。蔡元培强调社会责任教育在塑造良好公民、改良社会风气中的意义。他以仁爱为核心,将社会责任分成坚守公义与崇尚公德,从相反相成的两个面向呈现出社会责任的道德蕴含及教育内容。他积极寻求完人理想与中国实际的切合点,既提出了基于健全国民塑造、培育世界公民的价值诉求,也阐发了家庭、学校、社会等多教并举与体育、智育、德育等诸育融合的实践路径,从教什么、为何教、怎么教三个方面彰显出社会责任教育的完整逻辑。蔡元培的社会责任观虽产生于新旧激荡的旧民主主义革命时期,但对后疫情时代同类问题的思考与实践仍颇具参考价值。
Education is the main way to cultivate people’s awareness and action capacity of social responsibility.Cai Yuanpei emphasizes the significance of social responsibility education in shaping good citizens and improving social ethos.With benevolence as the core,he divided social responsibility into upholding justice and advocating public morality,and presented the moral implication and educational content of social responsibility in two opposite directions.He actively sought for the corresponding point of the perfect being ideal and the Chinese reality.He put forward the value appeal based on the sound national shaping and the cultivation of the world’s citizens,and proposed the two practical paths:one was to promote the coordinated development of family,school and social education;the other was to promote the integration of physical,intellectual and moral education.All this shows the complete logic of social responsibility education from the three aspects of what to teach,why to teach and how to teach.Although it originated from the Old Democratic Revolution,it still has some reference for the thinking and practice of similar problems in the post-epidemic era.
