摘要
以某热轧支承辊典型剥落失效为例,通过现场勘查、超声波探伤、排查使用数据等多种手段,确定热轧支承辊边部剥落的原因:即由于在线磨损使支承辊边部逐步产生应力集中,形成加工硬化,直至产生裂纹并疲劳扩展,最终造成大面积剥落导致支承辊失效。提出有针对性的预防与改进措施。
This paper takes the typical spalling failure of a back-up-roll used in the hot strip mill for example,confirms the cause of spalling of the back-up-roll by on-site investigation,UT,operation data checking and other means;the result shows that the back-up-roll gradually forms stress concentration because of online wearing,and causes work hardening which generates cracks that expends the fatigue,and finally causes large area of spalling and back-up-roll failure.
