摘要
特征函数是物理化学教材中特别重要的一类函数,它是物理化学课程的一条逻辑线。物理化学教材中的热力学基本方程、Maxwell关系式、过程自发性判据、化学势和表面吉布斯自由能等都与特征函数及其特征变量有关系。笔者结合多年教学经验,总结出特征函数在学习物理化学课程中发挥的重要作用以便帮助化学相关专业学生更好地学习和领略物理化学课程的魅力。
Characteristic function is a particularly important kind of function in physical chemistry textbooks.It is a logical line of physical chemistry course.The basic equations of thermodynamics,Maxwell’s relations,process spontaneity criterion,chemical potential and surface free energy in physical chemistry textbooks are related to the characteristic function and its characteristic variables.Combined with many years of teaching experience,the author summarizes the important role of characteristic function in learning physical chemistry course,so as to help students majoring in chemistry better learn and appreciate the charm of physical chemistry course.
