摘要
发光二极管作为光发射器件,是水下光通信传得远、传得快的核心器件。为了满足水下高速光通信的实际应用需求,设计了一种基于亚波长垂直结构LED器件的水下蓝光通信系统。根据亚波长理想LED模型,研制高出光效率、高调制速率的垂直结构蓝光LED,基于该器件围绕大功率发射驱动、高灵敏度自适应探测与数字编码调制技术,提出了面向6G网络的水下光通信系统。实验结果表明,在光传输损耗不大于0.4dB/m的情况下,所提出的光通信系统实现了传输距离不低于50 m、通信速率2 Mbps的全双工通信。
As an optical transmitter, light-emitting diode(LED) is the core device for underwater optical wireless communication(UOWC) to transmit far and fast. In order to meet the practical application requirements of underwater high-rate optical communication, a blue-light UOWC system is designed based on subwavelength LEDs with vertical structure. According to the subwavelength ideal LED model, a blue LED with vertical structure is developed to yield high light extraction efficiency and high modulation rate. An UOWC system for 6G networks is proposed based on the designed device, which contains the high-power transmitter, high-sensitivity adaptive detection, and digital coding and modulation technology. The experimental results show that the proposed optical communication system realizes fullduplex communication with transmission distance of no less than 50m and communication rate of 2Mbps under the condition that the optical transmission loss is not greater than 0.4 dB/m.
