摘要
本文利用世界银行PTAs数据库和OECD-TiVA数据库分别构建了度量区域贸易协定深度与亚太价值链合作模式重塑的指标体系,并全方位考察了区域贸易协定深化对亚太价值链合作模式重塑的影响效应。结果表明:区域贸易协定深化对亚太价值链合作模式重塑具有显著的促进作用并助推亚太经济体间的价值链合作模式由间接价值链合作向直接价值链合作转换,且随着时间推移,该促进作用呈现出不断强化的态势。此外,区域贸易协定深化的亚太价值链合作模式重塑效应存在显著的条款、区域、经济体以及贸易方式异质性。进一步的机制检验发现,区域贸易协定深化可通过降低贸易成本和促进外国直接投资(FDI)推动亚太价值链合作模式重塑。
This paper uses the World Bank’s PTAs and the OECD-TiVA databases to construct an indicator system to examine the impact from deepening of the regional trade agreements to reform the Asia-Pacific value chain cooperation comprehensively. According to the results, deepening of regional trade agreements enhances the reform of the Asia-Pacific value chain cooperation significantly, also switches the value chain cooperation mode from indirect to direct(the switching effect enhancing over time). Besides, the reforming effect from the Asia-Pacific value chain cooperation is heterogeneously in terms, regions, economy pairs and trade patterns. Mechanism inspection finds that deepening of regional trade agreements promotes the reforming of the Asia-Pacific value chain cooperation according to reduce trade cost and increase foreign direct investment.
