COVID-19’s Impact on China’s Cruise Industry and Countermeasures

摘要 中国邮轮市场经历了十年的黄金增长期,新冠肺炎(COVID-19)疫情前中国的邮轮产业从“高速增长”向“品质增长”转型。本文在归纳疫情前中国邮轮产业发展特征的基础上,结合疫情下国际及国内邮轮航运业的反应,总结了COVID-19对中国邮轮航运业的影响。受到疫情的影响,中国出境邮轮全面持续停航,国内航线停滞长达半年,2020年中国邮轮乘客不足50万人次,对中国邮轮旅游打击沉重。目前全球疫情形势依然严峻,中国国内航线已全面恢复,国际航线尚未复航,为了加快邮轮航运经济的复苏,针对疫情后中国邮轮航运业发展提出建议,以期为复航工作提供参考。 China’s cruise market has experienced a golden growth period of ten years.Before the outbreak of the COVID-19 Pandemic,the cruise industry has changed from“high-speed growth”to“quality growth”.This paper summarizes the development characteristics of China’s cruise industry before the COVID-19,combined with the response of International cruise shipping industry under the epidemic,and summarizes the impact of covid-19 on China’s cruise shipping.Affected by the epidemic,China’s outbound cruise ships have been suspended comprehensively and continuously,and domestic routes have stagnated for half a year.In 2020,the number of cruise passengers in China was less than 500000,and the epidemic had a heavy blow to China’s cruise tourism.At present,the global epidemic situation is still severe.Although China’s domestic course has been fully restored,international routes have not been resumed.In order to accelerate the recovery of cruise shipping economy,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the development of China’s cruise economy after the epidemic,so as to provide reference for the resumption of cruise shipping in the future.
