摘要
文章探讨了斯密经济学的理论意义,认为他开创了现代经济学,但他的理论不属于旨在关注商品供求均衡关系的专业经济学,而是属于政治经济学,他关注的乃是现代社会的经济秩序和国民财富的性质与原因等问题,以及相关的道德正当性问题。在此,斯密思想中的国民财富理论和他对于“看不见的手”的机制之揭示,所试图解决的乃是现代社会的经济秩序与情感道德的关系问题,并把它们纳入现代工商业社会的经济繁荣和个人福祉之中。总之,斯密的国民财富论是一个复调理论,看上去主调是市场经济与国民财富的政治经济学,但背后还有一个副调,那就是道德情感论与道德正义论。
This article mainly focuses on the theoretical significance of Smith’s economics.As the father of modern economics,Adam Smith’economics is more of political economics rather than modern economics which mainly concerns the equilibrium between supply and demand of commodities.The main concerns of Smith are economic order of modern society,the nature and causes of national wealth and other similar political economic issues,including moral legitimacy of modern society.Smith aims to figure out the relationship between the economic order and moral sentiments of modern society,and integrate them into the economic prosperity and personal well-being of modern industrial and commercial societies through inquiry to the nature and causes of national wealth and revelation of mechanism of the Invisible Hand.In short,Smith’s national wealth theory is a polyphonic theory,with the main theme being to discuss the market economy and national wealth from the perspective of political economy,and the theory of moral sentiments and moral justice as a minor theme.
