摘要
文章论述了在全球化背景下,作为“中国故事”的讲述者掌握中国文化英语表达能力的重要意义。文章以吉林外国语大学学生为对象展开调查,根据调查数据分析其中国文化英语表达能力现状。调查发现当前英语学习者的中国文化素养、中国文化英语表达能力和对母语文化的英语教育重视程度均有待提高。并针对以上的问题制定增强中国文化输入、巩固英语基础知识、培养跨文化沟通技巧和提升自主学习能力的策略,以有效提高英语学习者的中国文化英语表达能力。
This paper discusses the importance of the Chinese story tellers’ mastering the English expression ability of Chinese culture under the background of globalization. It investigates the students from Jilin International Studies University, and analyzes the current situation of their English expression ability of Chinese cultural according to the survey data. The survey found that it’s vitally necessary for the current Chinese English learners to improve Chinese cultural literacy, Chinese cultural English expression ability and their focus on English education. In view of the above problems, strategies are formulated to enhance the input of Chinese culture, consolidate the basic knowledge of English, cultivate cross-cultural communication skills and improve the independent learning ability, which can effectively improve English learners’ English expression ability of Chinese culture.
