南非威特沃特斯兰德盆地范特斯堡金矿床地质特征及矿床成因 被引量:2

Geological characteristics and genesis of the Ventersburg gold deposit in the Witwatersrand Basin, South Africa

摘要 威特沃特斯兰德盆地是世界上最重要的金矿床产地,但兰德金矿床成因类型仍存在争议。本文以分布于威特沃特斯兰德盆地西南部韦尔科姆金矿田内的范特斯堡金矿床为研究对象,通过对以往钻孔资料研究显示,该矿床由10条金矿体组成,主要赋存在中兰德群安登科组的石英岩和砾岩中;10条金矿体中①号金矿体规模较大,是该矿床的主矿体;通过矿石矿物组分及组构特征分析可知,金矿与黄铁矿关系密切,主要为自然金,且以游离金、裂隙金等形态存在;结合区域成矿特征及范特斯堡金矿床地质特征,分析认为范特斯堡金矿床具有沉积型矿床成因特征,为兰德金矿床成因类型的判断提供了理论依据。 The Witwatersrand Basin is the most important source of gold deposits in the world,but the genetic type of the Rand gold deposits remains controversial.This paper takes the Ventersburg gold deposit as the research object,which located in the Welkom gold field in the southwest of the Witwatersrand Basin.Through the study of the previous drilling data,it is shown that the deposit consists of 10 gold ore bodies,mainly hosted in the quartzite and conglomerate of the Andenk Formation of the Middle Rand Group;the No.1 gold ore body is the largest in scale among the 10 gold ore bodies and is the main ore body of the deposit;Characteristic analysis shows that gold deposit are closely related to pyrite,mainly natural gold,which exist in the form of free gold and fractured gold.Combined with the regional metallogenic characteristics and the geological characteristics of the Ventersburg gold deposit,it has the genetic characteristics of sedimentary deposits,which provides a theoretical basis for the judgment of the genetic type of the Rand-type gold deposit.
