摘要
保罗·韦纳是法国当代著名的历史学家,于史学理论有着精深的研究。《人如何书写历史》是保罗·韦纳史学思想方面的代表作。在该著作中,保罗·韦纳认为历史关注的是事物的独特性,因此,历史学家不应只关注过去而不关注当下,同时也要打破连续性的藩篱。历史学家以叙事或解释的方式编织历史情节,使得历史的独特性能够像人们理解日常生活事件一样得以被理解。基于对该著作的分析,可以发现,韦纳强调了历史是对事物独特性的理解,而这样的理解,不是科学的理解,也不仅是日常生活的理解,而是有着哲学诠释学意味的理解。
Paul Veyne is a famous historian in Contemporary France, and he has made profound research on the theory of history. Writing History is Paul Veyne’s masterpiece in historical thought. In this book, Paul Veyne believes that history focuses on the uniqueness of things, so historians should not only focus on the past and not the present, but also break the barrier of continuity. Historians should weave historical plots in narrative or explanatory ways, so that the uniqueness of history can be understood as people understand the events of daily life. Based on the analysis of this work, it can be said that Veyne emphasized that history is the understanding of the uniqueness of things, and such understanding is not a scientific understanding,nor just an understanding of daily life, but an understanding with philosophical hermeneutic meaning.
