慕课环境中认知临场感与批判性思维能力关系的实证研究

An Empirical Study on the Relationship Between Cognitive Presence and Critical Thinking Ability in MOOC Environment

摘要 随着在线学习的蓬勃发展,各种研究聚焦于将慕课作为一种新的教学环境和方法来解决学生批判性思维能力培养的问题。现有文献认为,在线学习环境的探究学习社区中,认知临场感与批判性思维能力具有相关性。文章采用实证研究方法,较为深入地探索慕课教学环境中两者相关性的具体含义,并建立两者的定量关系模型。研究发现,认知临场感与批判性思维能力之间存在12对紧密相关关系:触发行为分别会对深入分析、系统思考、自信心、思维成熟产生负向影响,对好奇心产生正向影响;探索行为会对自信心产生负向影响,对思维成熟产生正向影响;整合行为会对自信心产生负向影响,分别对寻求真理、思想开放、深入分析产生正向影响;解决行为会对思维成熟产生正向影响。总的来说,认知临场感与批判性思维能力的联系紧密,但是,不代表认知临场感的提升,就一定会使学生的批判性思维能力得到全面提升。 With the vigorous development of online learning,studies focusing on MOOC become as a new instruction environment and method to solve the problem in cultivating students’critical thinking ability.The existing literature believes that there is a correlation between cognitive presence and critical thinking ability in the community of inquiry within online learning environment.This paper uses empirical research,it deeply explores the specific meaning of the correlation between the cognitive presence and critical thinking ability in the MOOC environment and establishes a quantitative relationship model.It is found that there are 12 pairs of close correlations between cognitive presence and critical thinking ability,they are,triggering behavior had a negative impact on in-depth analysis,systematic thinking,self-confidence and thinking maturity,and a positive impact on curiosity.Exploration behavior had a negative impact on self-confidence and a positive impact on thinking maturity,while integration behavior had a negative impact on self-confidence and a positive impact on seeking truth,openness and in-depth analysis.Finally,solving behavior had a positive impact on thinking maturity.Generally speaking,cognitive presence is closely related to critical thinking ability.However,it does not mean that the improvement of cognitive presence can comprehensively improve students’critical thinking ability.
