摘要
Malnutrition is prevalent in cancer patients as a result of decreased appetite, dysphagia, and problems with digestion and absorption caused by tumour progression and/or cancer treatment.Malnutrition in cancer patients is associated with longer hospital stays,a poorer quality of life and increased mortality and morbidity[1,2].It is widely known that malnutrition is a consequence of colorectal cancer(CRC),and malnutrition in turn boosts the disease's progression. However, the mechanism(s)underlying this vicious cycle remain unclear.
