摘要
能否明晰青年的婚配竞争压力和家庭住房消费行为的关系是市场预期科学及政府调控有效的前提。文章利用“中国家庭追踪调查”(CFPS)数据检验了男青年的婚配竞争压力对家庭住房租购选择及类别选择的驱动作用,并从时间和空间两个维度考察了该驱动作用的时空分异性。研究发现:(1)平均来看,西部、东部、中部、东北地区适婚男青年面临的婚配竞争压力依次递减。(2)婚配竞争压力对男青年所在家庭住房租购决策产生了显著的正向影响。婚配竞争压力值每增加1分,家庭购房和租房的几率比将增加1.2%。(3)婚配竞争压力对男青年所在家庭住房类别选择产生了显著的正向影响。与购买小面积住房相比,婚配竞争压力值每增加1分,家庭购买中面积、大面积住房的概率分别增加2.3%和3.1%,男青年所在家庭住房消费行为具有“婚姻驱动”特征。(4)男青年的婚配竞争压力对家庭住房消费决策的作用在时间、空间维度上具有异质性。本研究可为破解中国“高房价”“婚房竞争”“因婚致贫”等困境提供新的思路。
Whether the relationship between young men’s mating competition pressure and family housing consumption behavior can be clarified is the premise of scientific market expectation and effective government regulation.Using the data of"China Family Panel Studies"(CFPS),the paper tests the driving effects of mating competition pressure on family housing consumption behavior,and investigates the spatiotemporal differentiation of the driving effects.The results show that:On average,the mating competition pressure faced by young men in the western,eastern,central and northeast regions decrease in turn.The mating competition pressure has a significant positive impact on family rent-purchase decision;for every one point increase in the measurement of mating competition pressure,the probability ratio of family purchase and rental will increase by 1.2%;the pressure of mating competition also has a significant positive impact on family housing type choice.Compared with purchasing small area housing,the probability of purchasing medium and large area housing will increase by 2.3%and 3.1%respectively for each increase in the score of mating competition pressure.Finally,the effects of mating competition pressure on family housing consumption decision-making are heterogeneous in time and space dimension.The study can provide new ideas for solving the dilemma of"high housing prices","wedding room competition"and"poverty caused by marriage"in China.
