摘要
在中美两国经贸博弈的背景下,美国商务部工业与安全局发布的出口管制实体清单对我国企业创新产生了重要影响。本文以2016—2019年的A股上公司为研究样本,运用多期双重差分模型检验了2018—2019年美国商务部工业与安全局历次发布的出口管制实体清单对我国相关企业创新活动的影响及机制。研究发现,所属行业被列入实体清单对相关企业创新活动有显著的促进作用。进一步分析发现:相对于民营企业和中小型企业,出口管制实体清单对国有企业和大型企业创新活动的促进作用更强;这一作用机制主要通过抑制管理者短视主义实现。
In the context of the economic and trade game between China and the US, the Entity List released by the Bureau of Industry and Security(BIS) of the US Department of Commerce has an important impact on the innovation of Chinese companies. Taking A-share companies from 2016 to 2019 as samples, this paper used the multi-period difference-in-difference method to examine the impact and mechanism of Entity List released by BIS from 2018 to 2019 on the innovation activities of related Chinese companies. It finds that the inclusion of corresponding industry in the Entity List has a significant promoting effect on the innovation activities of related companies. Further analysis shows that, compared with private companies and small and medium-sized companies, Entity List has a stronger promoting effect on innovation activities of state-owned companies and large companies. This mechanism is mainly realized by reducing managerial myopia.
