摘要
成都信息工程大学科研团队以全球广泛应用的X波段磁控管天气雷达为蓝本,主导研制了基于大功率长寿磁控管发射机与接收相参体制一体化结构的X波段双偏振多普勒天气雷达系统MaXPol。该雷达系统在75 km处的观测灵敏度优于−10 dBz,最大程度地解决了速度精度与速度模糊问题,具有反射率因子Z_(h)、差分反射率Z_(dr)、相关系数ρ_(HV)、差分相移率φ_(DP)(或称比相差,K_(DP))、平均多普勒速度(V)和速度谱宽(W)等6种物理量测量参数,这些参数可以确保数据质量可控,并形成多种气象产品。该雷达系统在贵州省气象部门构建基层人工影响天气科学作业和管理模式——“威宁模式”的工作中,充分发挥了强对流天气监测预警方面的优势,其丰富的高时空分辨率雷达产品为天气雷达与高炮火箭智能联动的人工影响天气作业指挥提供有效依据,能够有效提升人工影响天气作业质量。
MaXPol,a kind of dual-polarization Doppler weather radar,which is developed by a group from Chengdu University of Information Technology,is designed based on the X-band weather radar distributed in the developed countries.The radar is characterized by observational sensitivity better than−10 dBz at 75 km,and the advantage of identification of range fold by the coherent-on-receive technology.The radar have the abilities of detection of 6 kind variables,they are reflectivity Z_(h),differential reflectivity Z_(dr),co-polar correlation coefficientρ_(HV),differential phaseφ_(DP)(rate,K_(DP)),average Doppler velocity V,and velocity spectral width W.These parameters can ensure that the data quality control,and form a variety of meteorological products.The radar,which has the prominent abilities of monitoring,forecasting and warning of severe convective weather,plays a significant role in the construction of Weining mode,a command management and operation of weather modification in Weining County.According to its abundant high spatiotemporal resolution products,the weather modification command system could conduct rocket and artillery seeding operation intelligently by monitor.It can effectively improve the quality of weather modification operation,and has practical significance to improve the level of meteorological disaster prevention and mitigation.
