摘要
推行儒学教育是中央王朝为加强土司地区统治的一项重要举措。土司地区的儒学教育,对于维护社会稳定起到了一定的作用,在客观上也促进了土司地区的教育发展和文化融合。对土司地区推行儒学教育的理性审视,就是要以学科综合视域、文化深层研究的思路研究各民族的文化。以现代学科理念,统以综合视域,对各民族传统文化进行深入研究,其实就是一种民族文化间的思维、精神、艺术层面的深度沟通。如此,既能注意到各民族文化的多元性和特殊性,又能跨越时、空、类的局限,在中华民族文化体系的整体视域中彰显多彩,符合文化本身的特质。源远流长、植根心灵的文化阐释,更容易激发各民族的文化认同,而多学科综合视野的理性思考,是激发各民族文化共同繁荣、共同创造中华文化的有效学术途径。对土司地区推行儒学教育过程中各民族文化的接触、交流和融合的现代学科视域下理性审视,其实就是对中华民族传统文化的一种理性关照,对铸牢中华民族共同体意识有着重要的现代启示意义。
The promotion of Confucian education was an important means for the Central Dynasty to strengthen its rule in Tusi Areas(a Tusi is native official in feudal China).The purposes of promoting Confucian education among the upper classes of Tusi society were to let the local officials and their children accept Confucian ethics and the royal court s etiquette,and to gradually conform to court norms in order to to strengthen their loyalty to the Central Government.The goal of promoting Confucian education among the ordinary people was to create a Confucian social environment in Tusi areas through infiltrating ideological culture and reforming social customs in Tusi areas.The essence of the latter two was consistent-both were to consolidate the rule of the Central Dynasty in Tusi areas.Judging from the effect of Confucian education in Tusi areas,the main purpose of the Central Dynasty had largely been realized.However,we should also notice a cultural collision and communication as part of fostering Confucian education in Tusi areas.In violent conflict and conquest situations,cultural integration was the most profound driver of resilience as well as a long-term political sustainability.Before real integration could take place or during the process of communication,conflicts or offense were inevitable.The promotion of Confucian education-except for the indoctrination of ethical order as to enable the ruling class to maintain its control-had great impact on regional folk customs and culture.We need to study the cultural collisions that took place during the activity of promoting Confucian education in Tusi areas and uncover the historical facts so that we can explore the true historical cultural interactions and integration process.Through a rational understanding of the implementation of Confucian education in Tusi areas,we will see that the rich and colorful traditional culture of various ethnic groups contains the sense of community for the Chinese nation.According to modern thinking,culture collision coincides with int
