To explore the thought of Yi-ology of medicine in Sun Simiao’s main works Qian Jin Yao Fang and Qian Jin Yi Fang, analyze and sort out the medical thoughts and Yi-ology elements in Sun Simiao’s works, and reflect the specific application of Yi-ology thinking in Sun Simiao’s construction of medical theoretical system.Sun Simiao constructed his own medical theoretical system by using the thinking mode of Yi-ology.For example,he absorbed the thought of equilibrium and harmony in The Book of Changes and believed that the medication, treatment and doctors should be ’’neutralized’’;he summed up the ’’main points of nourishing nature’’,which embodies the thought of ’’simplicity’’ in The Book of Changes;under the guidance of the holistic view of ’’Sancai unification’’,Sun believes that it is necessary to comply with the four seasons for medication and health preservation, which reflects the thought of "change" in The Book of Changes;Sun regarded "Qi" as the origin of all things, which reflects the thought of "unchanging" in The Book of Changes. In addition,in understanding and treating diseases,Sun was also deeply influenced by the image number thinking in The Book of Changes.Although Sun Simiao’s thought of Yi-ology is not systematic,it is a bold attempt to introduce Yi-ology into medicine, which provides a new paradigm for later doctors to develop Yi-ology of medicine.
