摘要
本文以设立跨境电商综合试验区为准自然实验,选取2003—2018年252个地级市非平衡面板数据。采用双重差分模型考察了电子商务环境对经济增长的影响。研究结果表明:跨境电商综合试验区的设立有助于促进经济增长,该结论在经过一系列稳健性检验后仍然成立。进一步研究发现,相较于其他一般城市,跨境电商综合试验区的设立对省会城市的经济促进作用更明显。机制检验发现,生产性服务业集聚与区域创新产出是跨境电商综合试验区影响经济增长的重要渠道。本文为国家完善“跨境电商综合试验区”政策提供了丰富的经验证据,对相关部门工作具有一定的借鉴价值。
This paper takes the establishment of"cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot area"as the quasi natural experiment,and selects the unbalanced panel data of 252 prefecture level cities from 2003 to 2018.The double difference model is used to investigate the impact of e-commerce environment on economic growth.The results show that the establishment of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone helps to promote economic growth,and this conclusion is still valid after a series of robustness tests.Further research found that compared with other general cities,the establishment of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone has a more obvious role in promoting the economy of provincial capital cities.Mechanism test found that producer services agglomeration and regional innovation output are important channels for cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone to affect economic growth.This study provides rich empirical evidence for the state to improve the policy of"cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone",and has a certain reference value for the work of relevant departments.
