摘要
[目的/意义]社交媒体平台通常将志趣相投的用户聚集在一起,形成一个同质化的集群,即“回音室”。通过分析在线用户行为数据来调查网络舆情的传播是否具有回音室效应,如果存在,那么回音室与舆情的影响力是否存在某种关系。[方法/过程]利用社会网络分析法构建了舆情回音室网络和识别算法,并通过内容分析、情感分析、矛盾心理测量和同质性测量对舆情回音室成员的选择性曝光强度和同质性水平进行检验。最后验证了回音室的大小和数量与舆情影响力之间的关系。[结果/结论]实验结果发现舆情信息的传播确实存在回音室效应,而且回音室的大小和数量与舆情影响力之间呈线性关系。这意味着回音室可能对舆情在社交媒体上的影响力起到了重要作用。
[Purpose/significance] Social media platforms often bring like-minded users together in a homogenous cluster known as an echo chamber.In this paper,we analyze online user behavior data to investigate whether the spread of online public opinion has echo chamber effect,and if so,whether there is some relationship between echo chamber and the influence of public opinion.[Method/process] The network and recognition algorithm of echo chamber of public opinion are constructed by using social network analysis method,and the selective exposure intensity and homogeneity level of echo chamber members are tested by content analysis,emotion analysis,ambivalence measurement and homogeneity measurement.Finally,the relationship between the size and number of echo chambers and the influence of public opinion is verified.[Result/conclusion] The experimental results show that the echo chamber effect does exist in the dissemination of public opinion information,and there is a linear relationship between the size and number of echo chamber and the influence of public opinion.This means that echo chambers may have played an important role in the influence of public opinion on social media.
