摘要
史学碎片化的内涵,需同时从否定和肯定两个角度进行透视——从否定性的角度看,它是对史学宏大叙事的抛弃;从肯定性的角度看,它首先指的是史学研究之整个过程的一种特定状态,其次它代表一种以碎片化为价值追求的学术立场。辩证地看,史学碎片化一方面内蕴着理论和实践的多重困境,另一方面又具有其合理性。为超越碎片化,西方学界自二十世纪七八十年代以来发展出了种种“新的史学宏大叙事”,但由于它们无法辩证地看待历史规律与主体选择之间的关系,导致其愿望落空。迄今为止,唯物史观当是超越史学碎片化的可行选项。
The connotation of historiographical fragmentation could be penetrated from both negative and positive perspectives:On the former,it means the abandonment of the grand narratives of historiography;on the latter,it means,on the one hand,a specific state in the whole processof historiographical study,and,on the other hand,an academic pursuit of historiographical fragmentation.Historiographical fragmentation facesmultiple dilemmas both in theory and in practice while it has its own academic rationality.In order to overcome it,western historians have developed a variety of"new grand historical narratives"since the 1980s.However,they failed to see the dialectical relationship between historical law and subjective freedom,which led to the failure of their wishes.So far,materialist conception of history would be the better wayto overcomehistoriographical fragmentation.
