As someone who has studied tuberculosis(TB)formany years,it is difficult for me to admit,buttuberculosis has not been the most exciting field inmedicine for a long time.The vaccine that is used inmuch of the world was developed in the 1930s.Thefoundational clinical research that defines how we treatTB was performed in India in the 1960s.
