摘要
为获得更高质量的数字高程模型(digital elevation model,DEM)数据,提出了一种基于谷脊线作为地形约束的多尺度DEM融合方法。以雷达测高数据SRTM(shuttle radar topography mission)与激光测高数据GLAS(geoscience laser altimeter system)为辅助源校正的光学高程数据ASTER(advanced spaceborne thermal emission and reflection radiometer)作为低分辨数据,以商业卫星雷达测高数据WorldDEM作为高分辨数据,通过地表水流模拟方法分别提取两者谷脊线,再利用较高分辨率数据的地形细节作为较低分辨率数据重建的先验信息,实现高分辨率数据对低分辨率数据的引导,最终融合得到兼具广覆盖范围和高分辨率的DEM数据。模拟和真实数据试验表明,多尺度DEM融合方法在评价指标和地形细节恢复上均优于所提及的其他经典方法,说明该方法对于DEM数据质量的提升是有效可行的。
In order to obtain higher quality digital elevation model(DEM), a multi-scale DEM fusion method taking valley-ridge lines as terrain constraint is proposed in this paper. The advanced space-borne thermal emission and reflection radiometer(ASTER) corrected by shuttle radar topography mission(SRTM) and geoscience laser altimeter system(GLAS) is used as the low resolution data and the commercial satellite radar altimetry product WorldDEM as the high resolution data.The valley-ridge lines are extracted with surface flow simulation method, and the terrain details of higher resolution data are used as the prior information for lower resolution data reconstruction to realize the guidance of high-resolution data to low-resolution data.Finally,the DEM data with wide coverage and high resolution are obtained. The results of both simulation and real experiments show that the proposed method presents obvious advantages over other classic ones mentioned in this paper in regard to evaluation index and terrain detail recovery,which indicates the feasibility of this method for improving DEM data quality.
