摘要
西北的民族志影像初现在19世纪末20世纪初,本土化的影像实践略晚于国内其他区域,形成了具有地域性特点的发展道路。以民族志影像为支撑的影视人类学在西北的成长可以划分为近现代以来、新中国成立后、改革开放和进入新世纪等几个重要阶段。随着中国社会科学研究体系持续完善,近百年以来,几代学者不断深耕积累,西北的影视人类学学科在理论、实践等方面获得不断发展,但也存在概念含混、理论构建缺失、体系交错和学科边界不清等问题。同时,影像、影音文献积累不足等一系列问题也需要重视;民族志影像则显现区域化、学术化、作品化和市场化等诸多值得注意的趋势。从状况和趋势两方面对西北民族志影像和影视人类学学科发展进行梳理和分析,对进一步完善学科基本理论框架,聚焦学科核心问题,推动学科持续发展具有积极意义。
The visual ethnography of Northwest China first appeared in the late 19 th century and early 20 th century.The local practice of visual ethnography was slightly later than other regions in China,but it has formed a practice road with regional characteristics in the process of development.In Northwest China,the growth of visual anthropology supported by visual ethnography can be divided into several important stages—since modern times,after the founding of the P.R.China,reform and opening up,and entering the new century.Over the decades,with the continuous improvement of Chinese social science research system and the continuous cultivation and accumulation of several generations of scholars,visual anthropology in Northwest China has achieved prosperity and development in terms of theory and practice.At the same time,there are a series of problems,such as vague concept,insufficient theoretical construction,unclear discipline boundary,insufficient accumulation of image and audio-visual data and so on.Recently,visual ethnography shows many noteworthy trends,such as regionalization,academic orientation,and marketization.This paper analyses the development of Northwest visual ethnography and visual anthropology in terms of both status and trend,which has positive significance to further improve the basic theoretical framework of the discipline,to focus on the core issues of the discipline,and to promote the sustainable development of the discipline.
