Evaluation of Quality of Hot Work Die Steel Wires

摘要 对A、B两厂生产的4Cr5MoSiV热作模具钢线材,采用直读光谱仪、金相显微镜和配有能谱仪的扫描电子显微镜进行化学成分、冶金质量和微观组织分析,并通过冲击试验进行力学性能的对比。结果表明:A、B两厂生产的模具钢都存在比较严重的带状偏析和大块共晶碳化物;A钢为低硫易切削钢,含有条状MnS夹杂物和较多富钒、钼共晶碳化物;B钢由于废钢冶炼带入的铌、钛元素,析出难以消除的富Nb、Ti碳氮化物,还存在较多的钙铝酸盐复合氧化物夹杂;A、B钢的纵向冲击吸收能量分别为16.3和18.9 J。 Chemical composition,metallurgical quality and microstructure of 4Cr5MoSiV hot work die steel wires produced by manufacturers A and B were analyzed by direct-reading spectrometer,metallographic microscope and scanning electron microscope with energy spectrometer,and the mechanical properties were compared by impact test.The results showed that there were serious banded segregation and massive eutectic carbides in both A and B die steels.The steel A belonged to the low-sulfur free-cutting steel,contained strip MnS inclusions and more eutectic carbides rich in vanadium and molybdenum;due to the Nb and Ti elements brought in by scrap steel smelting,the steel B precipitated Nb-and Ti-rich carbonitrides which were difficult to be eliminated,and there were many calcium aluminate inclusions in it.The longitudinal impact absorbed energy of steels A and B was 16.3 and 18.9 J,respectively.
