Study on compatibility and mechanical property of PVDF/FEP blend

摘要 将聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF)与聚全氟乙丙烯(FEP)共混,考察了不同组成PVDF/FEP共混物的相容性、力学性能和微观形貌,并利用动态力学分析(DMA)和差示扫描量热法(DSC)对共混体系的相容性进行了分析。平衡扭矩测试结果表明,共混物组成对共混物的平衡扭矩影响较小。力学测试表明,与FEP相比,PVDF的冲击强度较低,而弹性模量、拉伸强度及弯曲强度较高;将PVDF与FEP共混,二者在力学性能上可以互补。动态力学测试表明,随着PVDF含量的增加,PVDF/FEP共混物的玻璃化转变峰逐渐向PVDF的玻璃化转变峰的位置移动,表明PVDF和FEP二者具有一定的相容性。微观形态表明,共混物呈海岛状结构,不完全相容。而PVDF的含量对共混物的结晶、熔融温度几乎没有影响。 Poly(methyl methacrylate)(PVDF) and tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene fluoride binary copolymer(FEP) were blended by melt blending.The composition, mechanical properties and morphology of the FEP/PMMA blends was investigated.And the compatibility of the system was analyzed by dynamic dynamic analysis(DMA) and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC).The results of balanced torque showed that the composition of the blend little effect on the balance torque of the mix.The mechanical properties results showed that the impact strength of PVDF was lower than FEP,while the elasticity modulus, tensile strength and bending strength were higher.Therefore, PVDF/FEP blends complemented each other in mechanical properties.Dynamic mechanical behavior showed that with the increasement of PVDF content, the glass transition peak of the blends gradually moved to the position of the glass transition peak of PVDF for the FEP/PMMA.The results showed that the FEP and PMMA were miscible.The morphology showed that the blends were island structures, that were not entireiy compatible.While the content of PVDF showed little effect on the crystallization and melting temperature of PVDF and FEP.
