摘要
晚清以降,国外官方和民间机构对以中国为中心的亚太地区进行名目繁多的实地调查和情报收集,由此产生出大量有关近代中国社会经济发展与国际市场状况的多语种外文调查文献。其中,日本大阪三大工商情报机构有关近代中国及“海上丝路”沿线系列调查,持续时间长,涵盖空间广,涉及内容多,形成了卷帙浩繁的日文原始档案、结集期刊和专题著作。惜乎迄今为止,这批珍贵的海外中国文献尚未得到充分发掘和利用;对其进行系统的数字化整理,不仅可以充实中国近代史研究的史料宝库,也能强化近代中国对外贸易史和海上交通史等领域研究的广度、深度和精度,具有重要的学术价值和现实意义。
Since the late Qing Dynasty,foreign official and non-governmental organizations have carried out numerous on-the-spot investigations and intelligence collection in the Asia-Pacific region,with China as the center,resulting in a large number of multilingual foreign investigation documents about modern China’s the social and economic development and the international market conditions.Among them,the series of investigations on modern China and the“Maritime Silk Road”conducted by the three major industrial and commercial intelligence agencies in Osaka,Japan,lasted for a long time and covered a wide range,forming a vast collection of original archives,collected periodicals and published books with extremely rich contents.Unfortunately,by far,these precious overseas Chinese documents have not yet been fully explored and utilized.A systematic digitization of these documents will not only enrich the treasure house of historical data bank of modern Chinese history research,but also strengthen the breadth,depth,and precision of research in the history of modern Chinese foreign trade and maritime transportation,which has great academic value and practical significance.
