摘要
杭州西湖与湘湖均是钱塘江两岸的名湖。两湖既有相似之处,也有不同之点。从形成方式比较,两湖最早均为泻湖,后演绎为人工湖,但时间有别;从功能性质方面比较,西湖也曾发挥过灌溉功能,但和湘湖不同,湘湖灌溉时间更长,范围更广。目前,湘湖经过开发,已经走上旅游之路,和西湖类同;两湖目前形态大小基本相当,但从景观品性相比,样貌相似,品性相异;从管治模式相比,西湖为官治,湘湖为官绅民合治,具有社会学意义。两湖的相似与相异,有着政治、历史、地理、文化等方面的深刻原因。
The West Lake and the Xianghu Lake are famous ones on both sides of Qiantang River.There are similarities as well as differences between two lakes.From the comparison of formation mode,they were lagoons at first,and then interpreted as artificial lakes,but the time was different.In terms of function and nature,the West Lake played an irrigation role,unlike the Xianghu Lake,which has a longer irrigation history and a wider range.At present,after development,the Xianghu Lake comes to highlight tourism,similar to the West Lake.The shape and size of two lakes are basically the same,but compared in the landscape characters,they share similarappearance but different nature.Compared in the governance model,the West Lake was governed by officials and the Xianghu Lake by the combination of officials,gentry and people,with profound sociological significance.The similarities and differences between the two lakes result from the reasons as politics,history,geography and culture,etc.
