The Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC)held in 2020 set out major strategic plans on steadily promoting common prosperity,and proposed making clearer substantive progress in this regard by 2035.At the Central Rural Work Conference in late 2020,Chinese President Xi Jinping introduced his important concept of“rejuvenation of the nation and revitalization of the countryside”and called on the entire Party and the whole of society to promote rural revitalization.
