摘要
新型城镇化为工业发展提供人力资本、积累知识和技术,进而促进工业高质量发展。本文在综合测度新型城镇化和工业高质量发展水平的基础上,从产业集聚和技术创新两方面探究新型城镇化对工业高质量发展的作用机制,并利用固定效应模型和中介效应模型对我国2008-2019年省际面板数据进行实证研究。结果表明:(1)我国工业高质量发展和新型城镇化水平都在逐渐提升,但存在明显的区域差异,且工业高质量发展的区域差异在逐步拉大。(2)新型城镇化和传统城镇化均能促进工业发展,但新型城镇化更能促进工业的高质量发展。(3)产业集聚和技术创新是新型城镇化推动工业高质量发展的作用机制,且技术创新的作用强于产业集聚。因此,需加快新型城镇化建设,充分发挥其集聚效应和技术溢出效应以更好地推动工业高质量发展。
New urbanization provides human capital,accumulates knowledge and technology for industrial development,and then promotes high-quality industrial development.Based on the comprehensive measurement of new urbanization and high-quality industrial development level,this paper explores the action mechanism of new urbanization on high-quality industrial development from two aspects of industrial agglomeration and technological innovation,and makes an empirical study on China’s inter provincial panel data from 2008 to 2019 by using fixed effect model and intermediary effect model.The results show that:(1)China’s industrial high-quality development and new urbanization level are gradually improving,but there are obvious regional differences,and the regional differences of industrial high-quality development are gradually widening;(2)Both new urbanization and traditional urbanization can promote industrial development,but new urbanization can promote the high-quality development of industry;(3)Industrial agglomeration and technological innovation are the mechanism of new urbanization to promote high-quality industrial development,and the role of technological innovation is stronger than industrial agglomeration.Therefore,it is necessary to speed up the construction of new urbanization and give full play to its agglomeration effect and technology spillover effect in order to better promote the high-quality development of industry.
