摘要
The article by Lan et al.[1],published on 30 October 2021 in Hepatology,showed the relationship between the natural flavonoid compound breviscapine and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH).The researchers demonstrated that breviscapine might be a novel therapeutic candidate for the treatment of NASH.It can be proven that breviscapine prevents metabolic stress-induced NASH progression through direct inhibition of the TGF-β-activated Kinase 1(TAK1)signaling pathway.
