12月6日,贯通张家界、芙蓉镇、凤凰古城等湘西主要旅游风景区的张吉怀高铁通车运营,湖南湘西土家族苗族自治州不通高铁的历史结束了。张吉怀高铁由中铁十四局参建,是我国“八纵八横”高速铁路网的区域连接线,北接黔常铁路,南连沪昆高铁、怀衡铁路,串联起武陵源、天门山、芙蓉镇、猛洞河、凤凰古城等著名风景区,对改善沿线群众出行条件,推动开发旅游资源,促进乡村振兴发展,意义重大。
On December 6,since the Zhangjiajie-Jishou-Huaihua High-speed Railway was opened to traffic,which cuts through Zhangjiajie,Furong Town,Ancient Town of Fenghuang and other major tourist areas in Western Hunan,it marked the history of no high-speed railway in Tujia-Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Western Hunan ended.
