摘要
“建”之本义,自汉代“立朝律”以来众说纷纭,似各有局限,将其进行新的考释势在必行。“建”中之“聿”,理应为动词,并非以往认可的名词“笔”或“木柱”;从殷墟卜辞等“建”字早期形态来看,构字中承担主要内涵的部分实为“|”;“|”作动词,主要涵义为“由下而上、升高”;以往研究中常被忽略的“止”与“土”,“止”义为足,引申为下基,“土”为数“点”,指扬土溅尘事。因此,将“建”字构形中“手”“|”“止”“土”合而观之,“建”之本义实为“填土造垣以立城”。“建”字之“廴”,并非“从彳引之”,而是从“■”而来;“■”亦非所谓的“庭中”,而应是“区”的意思;“区”中有“品”,品为众,以此使“聿”既不是只造一墙,亦不为笔、杖,而与“立城以盛民”关联契合。
The original meaning of character"Jian"has different opinions since"setting up the law",and it seems that each has its own limitations,which will be carried out in a new way."Yu"in"Jian"is supposed to be a verb,not a noun"pen"or"wooden post"that was previously recognized.From the early form of"Jian"from the Oracle inscriptions discovered in Yin ruins,the part of the main connotation in the construction is"|",the main meaning of which as a verb is"from the bottom up,rise".The meaning of"Zhi"is the foot,extended to the base,and"Tu"means several"points",pointing to the splashing dust matter of earth.Therefore,the original meaning of"Jian"is actually"building a cob wall to make a city"with combining the concept of"hand","|","Zhi"and"Tu"in the constructin of"Jian".The"廴"in the character"Jian"came from"■"not"彳"."■"is not the so-called"court",but"Qu".The meaning of"Pin"in the"Qu"is many people,so that"Yu"is not only a wall,nor pens or staff,but associated with"making the city to flourish the people".
