摘要
《韶舞九成乐补》是宋元韶乐复兴运动的产物。作者余载在年高之时以布衣身份献书,延续了北宋以来寒士论乐的传统。该书以《尚书》为门径,构筑了"六律""五声""八音"的作曲理论。与经学诸说不同,其所谱韶乐音域狭窄,旋律机械,不讲起调毕曲。其所制韶舞用易学常识为据,缀兆、采章以五行、八卦相配,顺旋呈卦气图状;舞阵变化与《洛书》九宫相应,舞蹈动作奇特。该书旨在想象一个较周代礼乐更为远古的乐舞世界。
Shaowu Jiucheng Yuebu is the product of revival movement of Shao music in the Song and Yuan Dynasties. The author Yu Zai presented his book to the authority as a commoner when he was senile,continuing the tradition of humble scholars studying music since the Northern Song Dynasty. Based on The Book of History( Shang Shu),it constructed a composition theory of"six laws","five tones"and"eight notes",which was different from the"Confucian Classics"and"Hundred Schools of Thoughts". The Shao music composed according to it had a narrow range and mechanical tones,and did not emphasize the cadence. The Shao dance,based on the basic knowledge of Book of Changes( I-Ching),contained "five primary elements"and "eight diagrams",with clockwise spinning displaying an omen of qi. The changes of dance formation corresponded to the nine squares of Luo Shu,and dance movements were peculiar. This book aimed at imaging a world of music and dance far more ancient than the rites and music of the Zhou Dynasty.
