The paper aims to compare the improvement effects of different exercise modes on metabolic diseases in obese/overweight adolescents from the perspective of insulin levels and Homeostasis Model Assessment-IR(HOMA-IR).Randomized control trial(RCTS)of exercise intervention to improve metabolic diseases in obese adolescents in Pubmed,Embase,Web of Science,Cochrane Library and CNKI databases were searched and col-lected.Literature was screened and included, and the quality of the included literature was evaluated.Revman and Stata softwares were used for analysis. The results showed that exercise significantly reduced the insulin lev-els of obese/overweight adolescents(WMD=-2.25,95%CI=-2.54~-1.95,P<0.00001)and HOMA-IR index(WMD=-0.73,95%CI=-0.83~-0.63,P<0.00001).The combined exercise and high-in-tensity interval exercise were more effective in reducing insulin levels and HOMA-IR index in obese/overweight adolescents. It is concluded that exercise intervention can effectively reduce the insulin levels and HOMA-IR in-dex in obese adolescents, and combined exercise has a significant effect on reducing insulin levels and HOMA-IR index.
