摘要
波德莱尔的书信提供了大量有关他的人生经历、情感变化、文学交往、工作方式、审美趣味、思想意识、作品生成等方面的重要信息。从中可以看到,波德莱尔终其一生都在追求自己作为“创造者”的成功:一是带着“纨绔子”的理想创造“社会人”的作品;一是带着“艺术家”的理想创造诗人、作家、批评家、理论家乃至翻译家的作品。在他那里,“社会人”现实人生的失败是“创造者”艺术人生得以成功的前提和保证,而两者的反差所形成的巨大张力是其创作上反差诗学的重要力量来源。
Baudelaire’s correspondences provide us with a great deal of important information about his life,his emotional and moral states,his literary relations,his way of working,his aesthetic tastes,his thoughts,as well as the genesis of certain works.It can be seen from his correspondences that throughout his life Baudelaire pursued his success as a“creator”who created with the ideal of the“dandy”the work of a“social man”while creating with the ideal of the“artist”the works of a poet,writer,critic,theorist and even translator.So far as Baudelaire is concerned,the failure of the real life of the“social man”is the prerequisite and the guarantee of the success of the artistic life of the“creative man,”and the strong tension between the two lives constitutes an important source of creative energy for his poetics of contrasts.
