摘要
当代美国非裔戏剧家琳恩·诺塔奇的创作主题关注历史和社会现状,她在剧作中将黑人女性放置于宏大历史背景和重要历史事件中,以黑人女性视角重现历史。本文以诺塔奇早期作品《宫娥》为例,结合叙事学与历史学相关理论,探讨诺塔奇如何通过多重个体叙述声音进行历史重现,进而肯定黑人女性在历史叙述中的重要地位,打破戏剧文本和历史背景之间的界限。
As a contemporary African American dramatist,Lynn Nottage focuses on history and social issues.In her plays,the black women are placed in the grand historical background and important historical events.The representation of history was produced from the perspective of black women.This thesis will analyze how Nottage reproduces historical events through multiple individual narrative voices in Las Meninas written in her early years,thus affirming the important role of black women in historical narrative and breaking the gap between dramatic text and historical text.
