摘要
文章从我国公民科学素质现状和公共图书馆在科普教育中的责任两方面阐述了素质教育背景下公共图书馆开展科普教育的重要性,在分析公共图书馆开展科普教育优势的基础上,对公共图书馆开展科普教育提出以下建议:结合各地特色和时下热点开展活动;加强社会合作机制;利用新技术打造教育平台;依托社会资源进行分馆建设;多渠道吸纳专业人才和加大科普教育基地建设。
This paper expounds the importance of carrying out popular science education in public libraries under the background of quality education from the current situation of citizens'scientific quality and the responsibility of Public Libraries in popular science education.Based on the analysis of the advantages of Public Libraries in carrying out popular science education,this paper puts forward the following suggestions for public libraries to carry out popular science education:carrying out activities in combination with local characteristics and current hot spots;Strengthening social cooperation mechanisms;Making use of new technology to build an education platform;Relying on social resources for branch library construction;Attract professionals through multiple channels and increase the construction of popular science education bases.
