摘要
从企业竞争地位、企业竞争优势及行业竞争度三个方面探究产品市场竞争态势,研究企业政治关联层级对产品市场竞争态势的影响。研究发现,企业政治关联层级对产品市场竞争态势具有负面影响,具体表现为:企业政治关联层级越高越能获得竞争优势、行业内政治关联企业层级越高整个行业市场竞争越弱,从而造成较差的市场竞争态势;影响机制考察发现,风险承担和融资约束是企业政治关联层级影响产品市场竞争态势的中介机制;从外部环境的分析发现,信息环境、执法环境和腐败治理环境对企业政治关联层级影响产品市场竞争态势的效应具有调节作用。
This study investigates the effect political connection-hierarchy on the product market competition by employing corporate competitive position,corporate competitive advantage,and industry competition as the measurement of product market competition.We find that,first,The hierarchy of corporate political connections exert a negative impact on the competitive situation of the product market.Specifically,the higher the hierarch of corporate political connections,the worse the product market competition situation.Second,risk-taking and financing constraints are the intermediary mechanisms by which the level of corporate political connections affects the competitive situation of the product market.In addition,the information environment,law enforcement environment,and corruption governance environment moderate the effect aforementioned.It can be seen that the improvement of the external environment will weaken the non-competitive advantages of politically-related enterprises,thereby helping to improve the market competition.
