摘要 熔融沉积制造(FDM)是一种运用热塑性粘合材料,通过逐层打印的方式来制造产品的增材制造技术。通过Matlab软件,设计了一种基于STL格式的八棱柱状支撑结构自动生成算法。该算法可以对模型进行待支撑区域识别与提取。将识别出来的待支撑区域向二维平面投影,在投影区域进行等距采样,计算采样点上方模型的高度,自动生成支撑结构,实现结构优化。在确保可打印的前提下,该算法能够有效节省打印时间和材料。结果表明该算法比Cura软件节约了27.23%的材料和14.85%的打印时间。 FDM(fused deposition modeling)is an additive manufacturing technology that uses thermoplastic bonded materials to manufacture products by printing layer by layer.In this paper,an automatic generation algorithm of octa-prism support structure based on STL format is designed by Matlab.The algorithm can identify and extract the area to be supported.The identified area to be supported is projected onto a two-dimensional plane,and isometric sampling is executed in the projected area.The height of the model above the sampling point is calculated,and the supporting structure is automatically generated to achieve structural optimization.The algorithm can effectively save printing time and materials on the premise of ensuring printability.The results show that the algorithm saves 27.23%of materials and 14.85%of printing time compared with Cura software.
