摘要
美德伦理学是以"美德"为基本概念并将行为者及其品格作为道德评价标准的一种主张。在2010年至2020年10年期间,围绕美德伦理学能否成为一种独立的伦理学类型,国内学界展开了持续研究,质疑与肯定兼有。"美德"是否具有概念自足性、是否能够成为道德确认标准、研究方法是否合理等问题,成为双方争论的焦点。争论更为促进大众对美德伦理学优势了解的同时,亦通过对"美德"概念优先性、实践有效性、研究方法合理性三个维度的论辩,在理论框架内确立"美德"概念优先地位并推进美德伦理学独有的行为指导原则的清晰呈现。一方面,该争论更能确切地显现美德伦理学以"美德"为基本概念,包容了地方立场上的道德多样性等独特优势;另一方面,该争论也显现出从实践基础、心灵哲学、道德多样性、跨领域研究多角度为美德伦理学的独立性作进一步辩护的需要。
Virtue ethics is a proposition that takes "virtue" as the basic concept and takes the actor and his character as the moral evaluation standard. In the past decades, the domestic academic researchers have carried out continuous research on whether virtue ethics can become an independent ethics type with both doubts and affirmation on the topic. Whether virtue has conceptual self-sufficiency, whether it can become the standard of moral confirmation, whether the research method is reasonable and so on — all these have become the focus of argument between the two sides. The argument not only promotes the public’s understanding of the advantages of virtue ethics, but also establishes the priority of the concept of virtue within the theoretical framework and promotes the clear presentation of the unique behavioral guiding principles of virtue ethics through the debate on the three dimensions of the priority of the concept of virtue, the effectiveness of practice and the rationality of research methods. On the one hand, this argument can more accurately show that virtue ethics takes "virtue" as the basic concept and includes the unique advantages of moral diversity from the local standpoint. On the other hand, it further defends the independence of virtue ethics from the aspects of practical basis, philosophy of mind, moral diversity and cross-field research methods.
