摘要
目的:了解中医院校教师对中医汉英平行语料库的认知现状和需求,促进中医汉英平行语料库建设和应用。方法:采用自主设计的调查问卷对山东某高校31名从事中医英语教学的教师进行调查。调查内容包括基本情况、对语料库的认知需求情况以及对语料库建设的建议。结果:58%的被调查教师对中医汉英平行语料库比较了解,其中经常使用的教师为6%;52%的教师倾向于应用语料库进行中医英译工作;45%的教师希望语料库提供类似表达的不同翻译版本比较。结论:教师对语料库有所了解,但实际应用较少;教师有利用语料库进行教学科研工作的强烈意愿,因此应根据广大教师的具体要求开发建设不同类型不同规模的语料库。
Objective:To understand the current cognitive situation and needs of teachers in TCM universities for Chinese-English parallel corpus of TCM,and to promote the construction and application of Chinese-English parallel corpus of TCM.Methods:A self-designed questionnaire was used to conduct a survey of 31 teachers in the school who are engaged in TCM English teaching.The survey included basic information,knowledge of the corpus,needs,and suggestions for the construction of the corpus.Results:All 58%of the people were familiar with the Chinese-English parallel corpus of TCM,the proportion of teachers who used it frequently was 6%,52%of teachers tend to use corpus for English translation of TCM,and 45%of teachers hope that the corpus provides a comparison of different translations of similar expressions.Conclusion:Teachers have a good understanding of the corpus,while it is less applied in their practical work.They have a strong willingness to use the corpus for teaching and research work,thus different types and sizes of corpus should be developed and constructed according to the specific requirements of teachers.
