过滤控流中间包流场及夹杂物去除的数值模拟 被引量:8

Numerical simulation of flow field and inclusion removal in filter controlled flow tundish

摘要 以60t板坯连铸中间包为研究对象,采用雷诺平均方程、组分输送以及离散相模型分别计算了高拉速下中间包内钢液流场特征演变以及夹杂物运动轨迹和去除率。结果表明,采用多孔过滤控流装置后,10μm的小夹杂物去除率提升了10%以上。与45°倾角过滤器中间包相比,55°倾角过滤器中间包的夹杂物去除率增加约5.3%,其顶部孔为水平方向,减小了卷渣与钢液裸露的风险。通过RTD曲线获得多孔过滤控流中间包的钢液停留时间缩短了30~50s、死区体积比增加0.03%,但夹杂物去除率明显提高。因此,采用停留时间、死区体积比等宏观流场特征参数评估中间包内夹杂物去除效率的方法已不适应过滤控流装置中间包的开发研究,宜采用速度云图、夹杂物运动轨迹等微观分析方法评估其冶金效果。 Taking a 60 tslab continuous casting tundish as the research object,the Roynolds-averaged Navier Stokes(RANS),the Species Transport,and the Discrete Phase Model(DPM)were used to calculate the evolution of liquid steel flow field,inclusion trajectory and removal rate in the tundish at high drawing speed.The results show that for small inclusions of 10μm,the inclusion removal rate is increased by 10%after the porous filtration control device is adopted.Compared with the 45°dip angle filter tundish,the inclusion removal rate of the 55°porous filter tundish increases by about 5.3%,and it′s top hole is horizontal,which reduces the risk of slag entrapment and molten steel exposure.According to the RTD curve,the residence time of molten steel is slightly reduced by 30-50 s,and the volume ratio of dead zone is increased by 0.03%,but the inclusion removal rate is obviously improved.Consequently,the macro trend concept of flow field characteristic parameters such as residence time and volume ratio of dead zone can not be used to evaluate precisely the removal efficiency of inclusions in tundish with filter.the micro analysis such as velocity nephogram and inclusion trajectory should be better to evaluate its metallurgical effect of inclusion revomal.
