Objective To explore the effects of solution focused approach(SFA)on depression, sleep and quality of life in patients with Parkinson’s disease. Methods A total of 72 Parkinson’s disease patients admitted to Henan Provincial People’s Hospital from January to December 2019 were included in this non-contemporaneous controlled study.According to the time of admission, they were divided into control group(January to July 2019)and SFA group(August to December 2019),with 36 cases in each group.Control group received routine care, and SFA group received SFA intervention on the basis of control group. Before intervention and 2 weeks after intervention, the Hamilton depression scale(HAMD),Parkinson’s disease sleep scale(PDSS)and Parkinson’s disease questionnaire(PDQ-39)were used to evaluate the patient’s mood, sleep status and quality of life, respectively. Results Before intervention, there was no statistical difference between the two groups in HAMD,PDSS and PDQ-39 scores(P>0.05).After intervention, the scores of HAMD and PDQ-39 in SFA group were lower than those of control group, and the PDSS score in SFA group was higher than that of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion SFA mode could effectively relieve depression in patients with Parkinson’s disease and improve their quality of sleep and life.
