Objective:To explore the effect of continual nursing combined with out-of-hospital information needs in the treat-ment of senile osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures(OVCF).Methods:A total of 84 elderly OVCF patients admitted to the hospital from May 2017 to May 2018 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the conventional group and the combined group according to the odd and even numbers, with 42 cases in each group. The two groups of patients’cognition level of osteoporosis and nursing satisfaction were compared. Results:There was no statistically significant difference in knowledge mastery between the two groups before discharge(P>0.05).Six months after discharge, the knowledge of calcium, exercise knowl-edge,and risk factors of the two groups improved. The combined group had higher knowledge mastery than the conventional group, and there were statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the combined group(97.62%)was higher than that of the conventional group(83.33%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Continuing nursing combined with the satisfaction of out-of-hospital information needs can significantly improve the know ledge cognition level and self-management ability of elderly OVCF,improve patient care satisfaction, and can be clinically promoted.
