摘要
异步在线讨论环境是支持学习者在线交互的有效工具,对于在线教学的成功开展至关重要。作为传统异步在线讨论环境的主要代表,线程式论坛存在难以维持焦点式讨论、促进交互式对话、支持观点整合、提供情感线索、实现跨情景讨论、促进知识消费和吸引学生深度参与等缺陷,可支撑高质量在线讨论的新型异步在线讨论环境研究成为热点。梳理国际相关成果后发现,新型异步在线讨论环境的应用图景表现为:以限制性环境促进知识整合与协作论证;以可视化环境促进交互式对话与协同知识构建;以锚定式环境促进情境化和焦点式讨论;以复合型环境实现对观点整合、交互式对话和焦点式讨论等功能的整合;以改进型环境达成吸引参与、焦点式讨论和情感反馈等功能;以替代性环境提升学习者的在线交互效果。未来异步在线讨论环境研究应注重整合运用新兴技术,设计可支持多样化学习目标的环境,重视对环境使用效果的评价和提升,充分考虑学习者的个性化需求,注重在线讨论工具与在线学习环境的集成和融合。
Asynchronous online discussion environments(AODEs)are the significant tools to support learners’online interactions,which are very crucial to the successful implementation of online teaching.As the main representative of traditional AODEs,threaded forum is difficult to maintain focused discussions,facilitate interactive dialogues,support integration of views,provide emotional clues,assist discussions across contexts,promote knowledge consumption,and engage students deeply.Thus,research on new AODEs for high-quality online discussions has become a hot topic.After reviewing relevant international literature,it is found that the application prospect of new AODEs is as follows:constrained environments are used for improving knowledge integration and collaborative argumentation,visualized environments for promoting interactive dialogues and collaborative knowledge building,anchored environments for facilitating contextualized and focused online discussions,combined environments for integrating viewpoints,interactive dialogues and focused discussions,improved environments for engaging students,focused discussions,and emotional feedback,alternative environments for enhancing the effect of learners’online interactions.Future research on AODEs should integrate emerging technologies,design new discussion environments that support diverse learning goals,emphasize the evaluation of empirical results of application,consider the individual needs of learners,and develop multifunctional environments or systems that integrate multiple technical features.
