摘要
从解释学视角看,由于中国古代典籍的文本疏离感及远化,以及译介者从自身文化视角对源文的多元“文化视野”解读,因此译介者会把独特的文化编码融入到翻译当中。在《孙子兵法》的翻译过程中,军人出身的塞缪尔·格里菲斯、汉学研究者约翰·闵福德、丹玛翻译小组等多个英语译介者,在专业领域、翻译目的、文化理解等因素影响下,对其军事思想作出了多元化阐释。《孙子兵法》英语译介的多元阐释,推动了军事思想跨文化、跨领域的传播,也推动了中国与英语国家的文化交融。
The study on the English translation of Sun Tzu’s The Art of War from the perspective of hermeneutics reveals that due to the sense of alienation and remoteness of ancient Chinese classics,as well as the multiple-“cultural horizon”interpretations of the source text from the perspective of translators’own culture,the translators’unique cultural codes have been integrated into the translation.The comparison among the translations by military officer Samuel Griffith,Sinologist John Minford,Denma translation group and others indicates that the interpretation of the military thought of the book is diversified due to different professional fields,translation purposes and cultural understanding.The multiple-perspective interpretation has promoted the cross-cultural and interdisciplinary transmission of the military thought,as well as the cultural integration of China and English-speaking countries.
