摘要
在德国占领胶澳租借地的十七年里,德国驻军感染疾病,甚至因病致命,屡见不鲜;对此,随军而来的德国医生多有观察、记录和研究。由此形成的医学报告是专业性的学术成果,丰富了人们对当时德国医学发展以及胶澳租借地医疗卫生状况的了解和认知。但是同时要看到,德国胶澳军医的医学报告还带有巩固德国在租借地进行统治的目的,而且从医学的角度建构了有关中国的负面形象。所以,在认可和探究其学术意义和科学价值的同时,不能忽视这些医学报告所带有的时代痕迹。
During the seventeen years’occupancy by Germany in Jiaozhou Leasehold,it was not uncommon for the German garrison to be infected with diseases or even become sick due to various illnesses,which the German doctors,who came with the army,observed,studied and recorded in their regard.The resultant medical reports are professional academic achievements,which have enriched people’s understanding of the medical development in Germany and the medical and health conditions of the Jiaozhou Leasehold at that time.But at the same time,it should be noted that the medical reports of German military doctors also had the purpose of consolidating Germany’s rule in the Jiaozhou Leasehold and they constructed a negative image about China from a medical perspective.Therefore,while recognizing and exploring their academic significance and scientific value,we cannot ignore the traces of the times that these medical reports carry.
