摘要
论文分析了东南亚华人文化被“政治化”的路径、原因,探讨了“去政治化”的可能性与可行性。认为由于特定原因,东南亚出现不同程度的“文化政治化”现象。非文化所属者的权威主体,作为施动者赋予华人文化关键术语和符号以负面含义,以达到将东南亚华人文化“政治化”的目的。其主要原因包括对象国多元复杂的政治经济和宗教族群因素,忌惮中国不断增强的实力与所谓的“中国威胁”不良影响,以及“他者”视阈中,华人与祖籍国的“想象共同体”。在东南亚华人文化“被政治化”问题上,探讨“去政治化”的可能性与可行性,具有一定的现实意义。如果“去政治化”举措能够实现,东南亚华人文化“被政治化”的现象也会有所缓和,同时,也有利于促进中国与东南亚国家的人文交流与文化合作,增进中国与东南亚国家之间的民心相通。
In recent years Chinese culture has undergone politicization in Southeast Asian countries at various levels.Although governments and other local authorities do not own ethnic Chinese culture,they perforce as activators imposing negative connotations on key terms and symbols of the culture for the purposes of politicization.Such phenomena may be associated with complexities of diversified political economy and issues of ethnic religion inherent in those countries.They fear China’s growing strength and its adverse effect,the so-called“Chinese Threat”,and are anxious about the“imagined communities”between ethnic Chinese and their homeland.Practically,it is thus important to explore the possibility and feasibility of measures to depoliticize ethnic Chinese culture in Southeast Asia.It will enhance cultural exchange and cooperation between China and the region,and also help promote China’s national image among the people of Southeast Asia.
